Water Lily

This morning Minstrel jumped up and caused me to spill coffee on my dressing gown, so I decided to put a wash-load on. I didn't realise that all our indoor drying space was full, and outside looked a bit risky. Risk it I did, as it wasn't raining at the time.

It looked like it could chuck it down at any time, and when I went out to do the usual Friday shopping, it did so with a vengeance! By the time I came home, the washing was truly drenched! I've left it outside. It can't get any wetter! I, on the other hand...

I took the water lily shot on my way to town via the river. It was just spitting with rain, but as I put my camera away, it started to come down in earnest!
