St Paul’s Cathedral

Not the one in London, but rather the one to be found in Dundee.

We purchased this picture from an artist called David Lee at the 1985 Duncan of Jordanstone Degree Show.

David was fascinated by the light and shade cast by scaffolding. This is one of three of his that we purchased and which we still enjoy.

David knew how to prepare his "canvas’" which is plywood finished in gesso.

Wet weather but not so wet as in some areas. A day for drawing up the solution to the knotty problem with some degree of success.

Called into the local pharmacy to pick up the latest supply of meds and David was full of excitement having just replaced his Apple iMac with a 5K 27 inch version.
