Summers Day

The middle son and family spent the week in Tenby and called in this morning on their way home to Frome, Somerset, and it was good to see them all.

Mrs BB was called into work as someone had gone sick; not a problem today as with the torrential weather it wasn't as though we could do a lot. In anycase, we had a meeting with the reverend who's conducting mums funeral on Tuesday this afternoon.

On the way home this evening I stopped off at Channel View, Grangetown,  Cardiff to take a photograph. It sums up this summers day - even the boats are flooded. I read on the news that a months worth of rain will fall in one day!
