If they'd been deliberately trying to make it hard to take photos, they couldn't have done better. Two spotlights trained on walls to either side, and the stage in darkness. I cranked up the ISO, took half a dozen photos, and gave up.

In case you can't see, this is a flute quartet. The brochure claimed their programme was original, but it was about as unadventurous as you can get. Fauré's Pavane. Va Pensiero from Aida. The Nutcracker.. A couple of arias from Carmen. One of Satie's Gymnopédies. And so on, all pieces I've known since I was a child. So it wasn't that interesting, but it was short too. And it's quite rare to get classical music as part of the Estivales, so brownie points for that.
