Rhapsody In Blue

We chose possibly the wettest day of the summer to have booked tickets for the outdoor cinema performance of Bohemian Rhapsody in the grounds of The Grange, next to Clarks Village.

Fortunately, having blown a hoolie and tipped down for most of the day, by the time we left home just before 8, the rain had eased off and apart from one or two brief light showers, we were able to enjoy the film in the dry. Great lead performance and music.

As you can see we weren't the only mad things braving the elements. The local pound shop had done a roaring trade in cheap ponchos.

Just to prove our (fool)hardiness, we were 2 of 5 people swimming in the rain at the outdoor pool this morning. Stayed dry this afternoon, editing the last year's photos for printing; just the900 to print!
