Simmer on a low heat .....

Finally saw the end of the turkey meat today in a steaming hot soup with vegetables. And this evening it tasted very nice, even though I say so myself, with a hot roll and glass of wine. Small casserole dishes served as soup bowls, and there is just a wee bit left for my lunch tomorrow.

Funny day. Aware that some of my friends have had INSET today and I have really missed being with them. Other friends are preparing to go home tomorrow. The holiday has been good though and I have done lots of wonderful things and enjoyed the company of family and friends.
