The Sandy Show aka "do you know your onions?"

We went to the Sandy Show today an annual event organised by Sandy and District Horticultural Society. It's been going for years, and today was the 53rd of the modern era. The first was actually held in 1868 but it had breaks during both world wars. It showcases some of the very best in local produce, flower arrangements and local crafts. Many extra side stalls, refreshments, local community groups etc. It was a great few hours. Expensive to get in though. Like all the best events. £1 each!
