44‘000 Tiles

One of the metro stations in Paris that keep me fascinated. It‘s the line 12 on Place de la Concorde with its tiles and the letters. At first sight it seems to be random, then some words and sentences start to crystallise ... and if taking enough time, the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen (French: Déclaration des droits de l'homme et du citoyen de 1789) could be read.
