Newcastle

Today we started with a massive breakfast. Obligatory in a Premier Inn.

Then we took the train into central Newcastle and rode the Metro, followed by a quick cuppa and then off on a bus ride to the BBC Studios for a studio tour. The boys loved it.

Then (not so) little one had said he wanted Tapas, meatballs specifically, so we were pleased to spot a Spanish restaurant. Another fabulous meal was scoffed.

We walked it off along Quayside and walked over the Millenium Bridge, which led us to a great viewing platform.

We took a taxi back to the hotel and had a few games of cards in the bar.

I have to say I am loving Newcastle. Fantastically friendly people. Really welcoming and helpful. I'll definitely return!
