Disembodied....

I'm not sure what the attraction is of these strange shield shaped disembodied heads. They were nicely arranged at Harmony Farm Supply in Sebastopol this morning when we went to buy shade cloth, but I still think they're pretty weird....

We also went to Flying Goat for the first time in ages to get an Aztec Mocha but alas, there was a problem with their coffee machine  and there was no coffee to be had.... There were a lot of disappointed people wandering aimlessly around trying to decide which one of the dozens of other coffee places nearby to go to.

We decided to go home. OilMan is feeling grumpy because his back is still bothering him, or perhaps bothering him again, since he was feeling better for awhile. The problem is, the minute he starts to feel a little better he's like the person who doesn't think he needs to finish a course of antibiotics....Certain connections just don't seem to make contact in the brain of a man who thinks in numbers....

I, on the other hand have had some success with a new knitting project which I embarked upon as a challenge....I thought it would get the better of me, but as these things go sometimes, the 20th time was a charm...they may seem a bit frivolous, but they have made a lot of women very happy and they always need volunteers to make more.
