95 attempts!!!

Taking pictures of flowers is a little more difficult than I thought! I'm going to try to use my journal to take photos that I wouldn't usually think of taking.
Flowers isn't something that interests me at all which is why I think I had 95 pictures saved on my camera.
I'm using a Canon 650D with the standard 18-55mm lens. I put the camera flash on due to the poor lighting in my kitchen and clicked away.
Not pleased with any of them I posted the one I thought was the best of a bad bunch...

Wrong flower? Wrong lens? Wrong angle? Why doesn't this picture sell itself???
