Eggs-traordinary Disappointment

I don't mean to brag, but I make the World's Greatest fried eggs.* I decided to forray into the scary world of poached eggs today, and failed miserably. I tried the whisking method, the boil-them-for-20secs-before-cracking-them-into-the-water method, but what I ended up with was a pan full of egg water and a floaty yolk...

Suffice to say, boiled egg with chips is nowhere near as satisfying as a poached egg...
