Day one of our weekend in York.
A journey that should have taken 1.5 hours took 4 as we had an unplanned diversion around Leeds en route.

Words are not enough to describe the majestic splendour of York’s Minster.
It suddenly looms in front of you from behind rows of shops and snickelways.
