The Wooden Spoon

Over the years we have received several gifts from our friends in the East, and many of these are wooden spoons; hand carved and painted.

The larger object of the two is a ladle and the handle ends in a hook as shown by the shadow.

Memories of good friendships and great shared times.

And I do like the use of bright colours.
