Scaling the river bed at the Stretti di Giaredo

Another fabulous day out hiking, this time we made our way up a river bed, over the rocks and through the water, to reach the Stretti di Giaredo", a narrow, water-filled canyon. We got quite a long way along, but had to stop when we reached a chest-high pool. Too cold to cross without wet suits. Another time!

Back at the B&B we read by the pool (Elena Ferrante, La mia amica geniale) and then went for dinner at L'Antico Mulino. Very nice!
