Sunrise from the toilet block

Another busy day in the core shed, managed to do a bit of advanced geo work and finally caught up with the backlog of core.

The team here are really social, much more my sort of people than the tea I had in Cairns. The Geo I'm working under went backpacking a few years ago, is getting into climbing and is getting into running. So we get on pretty well.

I don't have my own vehicle yet and photos are highly restricted, but this gives you some idea of the environment im working in.

It is cold too! Today was about 3-17 degrees and really breezy.
