We drove the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach and Kiel to Carskey Bay. There was a heavy shower as we left town but by the time we got there we had passed through the shower and it was dry. We walked to the far end of the beach and back. Tide was well in. The waves were good today, with a lot of kelp in the sea and some on the beach. The Gannets were further out to sea.
