The Atom

This is a walk-in shelter/viewpoint from which to enjoy the rather spectacular  views of Pendle Hill and the surrounding countryside.  Made of concrete it was 'opened' in 2006 but sadly over time the weather and vandals have taken their toll and it is now a rather unimpressive 'lump' - but the setting and the views remain as good as ever.
