Sophie Hanging On In There

It was one of Kate's friends birthday today so, while Kate joined her for a birthday lunch, we went down to look after Sophie. We were about the only carers in the park who didn't spend most of the time looking at our mobile phones.

We had fun in the local park this afternoon. I thought this blip ov her preparing to go down the slide would appeal to all you pylon afficianados.

Not long after, while she was preparing imaginary waffles and ice cream for us, she managed to catch her finger on something and get a blood blister with the result that she spent the rest of the afternoon holding her finger in the air and wincing whenever she remembered to, even when we got back home and put a plaster on it; she can be a real drama queen when she puts her mind to it :)
