Visited my friend Laura and her 2 cats late afternoon. I was supposed to be there earlier in the day to get her to an appointment, but Jason was up until the wee small hours with food poisoning and the doctor phoned me back at 6am, so I’d had a disturbed night’s sleep. I wasn’t feeling on top form, but she wanted me to cut her hair for her upcoming Stephen Fry shows, so I was happy to oblige. Reminded me of when I used to cut my brother’s and my mother’s hair about 35 years ago.
