Sunshine and showers

We did not do much today, Rich had to work a bit so we could not plan much. 

I pottered around the house and garden and have started cutting back a few plants which are not doing well.  I plan to give the garden a good haircut this year so that hopefully everything will be rejuvenated next year. 

I have a similar plan for the allotment.

We did get to sit in the garden for a while this afternoon and enjoy the sunshine and a glass of champagne, so decadent!

I think I have finished my poem for my grans funeral on Wednesday and am pleased with the end result, it took much longer than I thought it would.
