Bags of bargains

Can it be that I managed to catch red handed, an individual who may be suffering from a worse case of sale mania than me?!! It certainly seemed that way.

One of my indulgences over the past few days has been the purchase of a new compact camera, the theory being that it's small enough to have to hand morning noon and night. I'm still getting to grips with it, but first impressions are very favourable although I don't think it'll ever replace the D7000 whose only sin is that it's big and bulky.

On a separate note, one of my new year's resolutions is to reduce the level of social commitments in the lead up to Christmas 2013. Looking back at the last few weeks, it's big 'phew' from me and a realisation of how I missed recharging my batteries in the run up to the festive season. Too much of a good thing maybe??
