Busy bees

This prunus campanulata , one of 4 in our garden , is absolutely buzzing with bees in this morning's beautiful sunshine . The sky is cloudless after a frosty start to the day.
I woke at 3am and was unable to get back to sleep, so gave in at 5am and did the ironing, watched the news and went back to bed for an hour at 6am. A quick breakfast , changed all the bedroom and bathroom linen , then out to the grapefruit tree and we picked 3 large buckets full. I then put them through the squeezer/juicer and have just put 10 litres of juice in the freezer for drinking with tonic...allegedly to discourage cramp in old legs!
