Turin Brakes @ Kings Place

Kings Cross looks amazing now. As a kid I used to sometimes go to tbe office with dad and as we walked back to the tube we'd see the working girls on the corner. I found it mesmerising.

They've all gone now, and much of Granary Square has been restored. We went for dinner and met some friends at the restaurant before we walked over to Kings Place for the gig.

Kings Place is a lovely place for a gig, we had seats directly opposite the stage, a perfect view.

This was the band's acoustic set and they seemed to love every minute of it, as did I.
