The shortest of short walks

I had the shortest of short walks this lunchtime coming to a dead stop after about 100 yards as I spotted a Whinchat - a notable find.

I took ages to get a decent photo as I could get no closer and it even went further away!


In the afternoon I had a proper walk to the local farm ( my regular walk not done for over 6 weeks!)  and found about 30 Swallows/ Martins and a family of Spotted flycatchers ( extra photo)
