DESPERATION BLIP
Took my camera out for a walk this afternoon but it couldn't get around to taking a photo of anything worth taking - cameras, hey?
So you get the true copper red glaze on porcelain fired to 1300°C.
Legend has it that a certain Chinese emperor ordered his favourite potter to produce a red glaze & the poor guy tried & failed so many times that in the end he got his apprentices to brick him up inside the kiln & fire it up...
Sadly to say, he was wearing a belt with a copper buckle to hold up his jeans... & lo & behold, when they opened the kiln - beautiful copper reds!
