Seewli

After a great night, and an early morning listening to the milking of the 28 cows at Sittlisalp, I set off around to this lake, Seewlisee. What amazing weather and the views to the Ruschen and Gr Windgallen were out of this world. It was a tough hike up to the ridge, but a fantastic reward to see this lake. I headed down for some refreshments at the Seewlialp, then descended 900m down to the Chilcherberg cable car. It was a very small open sided affair, and the wind was blowing strongly. I was glad I wasn’t on my own. It was the last one for the day, as the wind was then too strong for it to run. I was glad to save the knees for the last 500m to the valley floor.
