Goldenrod

A full day today.  I was preparing some more of the plums from our tree. Some of them we are eating fresh (sweet and juicy), some have gone for jam making, and some are just lightly stewed then frozen in small batches for use later.  I picked the final fruit from the tree - another bowlful (over 3 kg).

I also spent a few hours clearing an overgrown border and then mowing the lawn.  At the end of this, I had to rely on the garden again for my blip:  Solidago (goldenrod) with a Michaelmas Daisy playing a supporting role.
