Edinburgh Festival

On my way across town from Prince’s St to the High St I decided to walk through the gardens and exit via King Stables Rd. then to the Grassmarket and then up to the High St that way but in Edinburgh Council’s infinite wisdom they are working on the section over the rail tracks to Haymarket and it was closed. It was the first time I had walked past the refurbished Ross Fountain and it was quite impressive.
