Fresh Pear & 3 Girls Cabernet Sauvignon

I can get totally consumed by my work. Today I spent nearly five hours at my desk at one stretch without getting up. When I finally got up, I was stiff, disoriented and my limbs would hardly move. Yet, I fell deeply satisfied as I had a nice body of work to show my client at the end of the day.

I felt badly, however, that I hadn't taken my dog for a walk, I hadn't experienced the cold fresh air and I hadn't moved the sheets from the washer to the dryer.

It was all made better, however, by a pear that was at its peak of ripeness and a glass of California Red.

Tomorrow... tomorrow.. I will get outside for that walk.
