A Day At A Time.

The clouds on the horizon may indicate some cooler weather is coming to the Costa, as the wind is due to change to a levante again later this morning.

The hot westerly winds of yesterday were fanning the flames of a very large fire in the campo not far from here. Reports were coming in all evening of houses being evacuated and the direction and progress of the conflagration.

At one point, there was some concern it may get too close to the ADANA shelter, but fortunately the winds carried the flames away.

There has been no rain for months and everywhere is tinderbox dry. These are perfect fire-starting conditions.

The tragic thing is, sometimes these fires are given a helping hand, as a diversion while some nefarious activities take place on the coast.

Whether that was the case yesterday, I have no idea.

No alcohol yet again.
