A bird in the hand..

This is the secret bird hide above the house. Secret because I've never seen a birwatcher near the place but it has become a cosy wee bothy for those in the know.

There's a visitors book with a few entries, non from birders, but from folk having a nice weekend, a chair in case you do want to look out and a few candles - oh! and somebody left a can of beer for the next user. How nice is that.
