Brantome, Dordogne

Mr Sk and I went on our annual 'pilgrimage' to the pretty little town of Brantome today.  This is a picture of the Abbey and the river Dronne which runs through the centre of the town.  A lot of people go canoeing down the river with people watching from the bridges.  I noticed one which had three little dogs on board who were enjoying their trip down the river, going over the weir and landing safely the other side - see extras.

Also in extras is Mr Sk looking pensive in a quiet little back street, and one of the road we drive along to get to Brantome showing where the river carved through the rocks millions of years ago!
