Some say the devil is in them.

Not an Autumn leaf, not yet anyway.  A slightly stressed leaf on a potted Acer japonica seedling I am growing in a pot.  

......Pops outside and waters it!.......


I love the detail of the colouring in the leaf and all the veins.  Reminds me of looking down on french fields from the plane en route to the Alps.  

A day of many jobs.  Admin, allotment, planting and packing.  Oh and an hour or so sorting the garage with Jacinta.  We've started the long overdue big clear-out.  Tomorow, a last visit to Una in her own house, the move delayed until Thursday by a transport mix-up.  From there to London and on Thursday, Southampton .... and Wales.
