I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside ....
... but I draw the line at sitting on the beach when the wind is blowing and the grey clouds are massing overhead. No backbone!
We bought some baklava from the Greek patisserie, seriously sticky, washed down with some of their seriously strong coffee and ate it while Raf cavorted with an assortment of new canine friends. Eating baklava on a windy beach is not really a good idea. But it was delicious.
After that, no lunch was necessary, or possible. We did a supermarket sweep and drove home, arriving not long before Ali and the children. Hal has demonstrated his new mobility, and managed to polish off mushed up lasagne and mushed up prunes in spite of not yet having cut any teeth. Nico is her usual bouncy, chatty self. Raf has cheered up again, and the cats are lying low.
I'm seriously behind with blip. I hope I'll manage to find some time to catch up in the next few days.
