'Insane Temparutures'

Today was our hottest day for a few years apparently, temperatures soared up into the 40's and to top that off we had really strong northerly winds from central Australia.

Nasty stuff today.

Early this morning got up and put together Dylan's new IKEA desk for his room. I'm always amazed at the precision of the parts and how they all come together so beautifully. We stayed indoors with all of the windows covered today to try to keep the house cool. No air conditioned luxury here, although I popped out for 10 mins down to Mitre 10 to pick up some bits and pieces for Dylans room and the outside temperature was an insane 43 degrees.

I needed to find some cool and calming colours for tonight's blip and settled on this agapanthus.

Looking forward to tomorrow as Mrs Rosewarne and myself are nicking off to Port Campbell for a night without the kids. WooHoo. I'm sure that they will be having lots of fun with their favourite Aunty who has volunteered to look after them for the night.
