Couldn’t resist.

Oot n aboot this morning. We walked up through the farm and saw that the strawberries were all cropped, the tunnels down and the workers gone, (blipfoto 2 July 2019). As we headed back to town we noted that the pea field had been harvested and in part turned over... and there were some random little pockets where some of the crop remained adjacent the public path. We sampled a few and picked a couple of pocket fulls. Lovely.

On the way back we saw a dozen or more double decker buses waiting at the High School; the new term started today. Shortly afterwards a few on bicycles passed us after their first day. They looked smart in new uniforms.

We got back just before heavy rain.

This evening we went to see the film “Yesterday” at the cinema. Not overly busy, although we managed to get a few popcorn rustlers in the audience. It’s a romantic, comedy and musical film. Great to hear Beatles classics featuring throughout the storyline. We left singing to ourselves; we’ll have a Spotify session soon.
