Family get together

The traffic was kind and we arrived in Gloucester an hour early.  Family get togethers tend to be for weddings or funerals, today was a funeral. A sad event but gran had a (very) long life and we all remembered the things she had done and what she was like.  My poem went down well but I was far more nervous reading it than I had anticipated I would be but it was okay.

It was nice to catch up with everyone after and we had a good trip home, being back by 5pm. The cats were pleased to see is.
