Costa comes to Bakewell?

Last night there was a meeting at the Rutland Hotel to see if there was enough support to form a group against the proposed move of Costa Coffee into Bakewell.
The meeting was very well attended with not all in favour but with over 1600 people signing the petition against Costa's arrival in town it was decided that the group would form.
This morning on radio Derby there was a phone in with people from both camps contributing to a rather lively debate.
I can see this going on for a while as taking on a big multi national is never an easy process as Totnes found out.
But as you can see Costa have already landed in the town.
