... on York Station this morning, were heading for Ladies Day at York Races.

Besides the hats, flamboyant dresses and fascinators, drinking was in evidence mid morning, see here and the first extra.

I don't think the lady in the second extra is quite ready for the event yet, as she waited in the enormous taxi queue.
