Rainbow over Loch Broom

I rushed out of the Arch restaurant in the middle of our dinner this evening to take this photograph of a rainbow that appeared over Loch Broom.

We are now staying just outside Ullapool for a couple of days having left Dunkeld this morning and driven north up the A9. We broke our journey at House of Bruar (only food purchases made) and the Culloden battlefield.

Our accommodation is Tanglewood House. Mr hazelh and I last stayed here for a couple of nights in 2013 on 5th August and 6th August. Our rooms have the most amazing views of the loch, as does the very comfortable sitting room on the ground floor in which I won a game of Scrabble this evening. The series score is now Mr hazelh 2 - hazelh 1.

Exercise today: somewhat lacking (8170 steps).
