The Oranges

I'm pretty relaxed about protecting the dahlias over the winter.  Mum would lift and dry them each year, I tend to just pile lots of mulch over them.

Of the original random collection we planted it would seem that the orange ones are most tolerant to this sort of abuse - we've a number, all very enthusiastically flowering at the moment.
