Hanging on to Christmas .....

I love this Advent calendar - I bought it years ago (it was made in West Germany so that shows how old it is!) It makes an appearance every couple of years or so and I re-open the little windows which have old-fashioned Bible texts and pictures - no chocolates!! I also love the two snowmen and the colour-changing candle! It's sad that the decorations will have to be packed away in a couple of days as winter seems so dark again when they're gone.
