Lorca Castle
We’re staying at the Parador, built on the site of Lorca Castle in Murcia Province... about 2.5 hours down the motorway from home.
We climbed to the top of the Tower this afternoon.... this is the view, tonight from our hotel window....
and we learned about King Alfonso X ....the Wise.....(1244).... from the guide
Amazing how little we know about the rice Spanish history!!
This visit is to celebrate my husband’s birthday..... so far it’s been a great choice!
