An attractive flower which can sometimes be found in hedges is the Bittersweet or Woody Nightshade (Solanum dulcamara) with its flowers turning into clusters of poisonous bright red berries. The flowers are purple with protruding yellow stamens so I was very surprised to see some white flowers and red berries on a nearby plant. I know both Black Nightshade and Deadly Nightshade which have black berries and slightly different white flowers and leaves.
