2019 Thursday — Working around the Clock

When I arrived at the campus this past Monday, part of the parking lot was blocked by temporary fencing and construction vehicles. I wondered what was being worked on and then I parked, gathered my things from my car, and walked toward my office which is on the outside first floor of the library.

Then I saw the scaffolding around the clock tower. So the workers have been busy all week putting a new roof on the library. The semester begins this coming Monday.

As I returned to my office late this afternoon from a meeting across campus, I could see the library from this angle and noticed the two men on top. At the moment all I could think was “Camera!” and “Get a photo.” Now my thought is “Working around the Clock.”
