The Oldest Building in Town
On a trip to Newport our County Town, to buy some cold weather gear for the forthcoming trip to the Alps, I passed by what is probably the oldest building in the town. This is the King James's Grammer School built in 1614. It was here that the imprisoned King Charles I met the Parliamentary Commissioners to try to negotiate a treaty (known as the Treaty of Newport).
The picture was taken in Infra red but looked a little flat in the dull conditions so I have used a Paper Negative preset to give it a period feel.
