Old Bakery
We explored Walberton village today and this photo shows part of the building labelled “The Old Bakery”. The village was situated on quite a busy road, but was fairly interesting. The church was down a lane and it was quieter there and we had a look around - some of it dated back to the 11th century and the font was a roughly hewn Saxon font on its original base. The sun was in the wrong direction to take a good photo of the church, otherwise that would have been my blip. An ice cream each was eaten on the village green (sitting in the shade, because it was very hot today) and then we decided to head on home for a cup of tea!
