who would believe this is winter

dog walking is coming to an end- at least for now-the holiday makers return this weekend. Walked the 'Faery Isles' walk today- but only glimpses of the sea are visible from the road- there are highland cattle in the the southernmost part of the peninsula (an experiment by the Forestry Commission to help regeneration of native trees) where the path is beside the sea and the good views are- but I wasn't willing to risk taking the dog among them- one to do on my own some day
