Quick blip.

French conversation group (3 of us plus Thierry the tutor) met here at lunchtime today. So we decided we needed sustenance. Ann provided a platter of sandwiches, my hubby gave us some of his recently made carrot cake and Yorkshire turf cake. (Our Cricket team could have done with some fortifying today! I’ll draw a veil over that for now!)
Lilian produced chocolate and ginger biscuits.
I just looked decorative ( as if!) and served the coffee.
It had turned into a glorious afternoon outside as they were leaving.
Summer has returned for a little while longer..........Blipper Clive will be pleased about that!
